Our Economic Wellbeing Strategy 2017-2022 ^{(PDF, 2.2mb)} sets out the goals we're aiming to achieve by 2020, and how we can work together with our partners to make Southwark a place where: 

• people of all ages have the skills and drive to make the most of our central London location 
• businesses grow and prosper 
• town centres and high streets thrive 
• our residents are financially independent 

Cultural Strategy

• sets out our vision to deliver cultural and creative prosperity.
• provides a framework for cross-council and partner work in events, arts, heritage, libraries, regeneration, licensing, public health, education and planning.
• includes commitments to enable the growth of the creative economy and to provide creative workspaces/ cultural venues.
