Neighbourhood planning

Other neighbourhood planning groups

Crystal Palace and Upper Norwood

A group from the local community in Crystal Palace and Upper Norwood approached the Southwark, Lewisham, Bromley, Lambeth and Croydon councils to express their intention to form a cross-boundary neighbourhood forum, have a cross-boundary neighbourhood area designated and prepare a neighbourhood plan for their area.

In May 2015 representatives from the community group met with council officers and councillors to discuss progressing their forum and area designation applications. The five boroughs provided a joint response to the community group in response to discussion at the meeting.

The joint response (PDF, 83kb) can be viewed.

Rotherhithe and Surrey Docks

The neighbourhood area for Rotherhithe and Surrey Docks (PDF, 1mb) was designated in March 2015. The neighbourhood area originally applied for was amended by the council. The reasons for this are set out in this report (PDF, 166kb).

A neighbourhood forum has not been formally designated for this neighbourhood area as of March 2017.
