Southwark Streetscape Design Manual (SSDM)

Framework Plan

The Framework Plan explains how the various parts of the SSDM portfolio work together. It is also the over-arching strategy document, setting out our Strategic Design Objectives, Strategic Design Policies and overall Vision for the borough's streets and spaces.

We are currently in the process of developing the Framework Plan as a Supplementary Planning Document. In the meantime, the following interim documents have been agreed by the Cabinet Member for Transport, Environment, and Recycling:
