Article 4 Directions

The Old Southern Railway Stables and the Forge

The council has confirmed the immediate Article 4 Direction on 8 November 2018. The Article 4 Direction removes permitted development rights for the demolition of the Old Southern Railway Stables and the Forge at the junction of Catlin Street and St James’s Road.

Planning permission will now be required for any demolition of the buildings as identified in the Article 4 Direction.
