Drupal Forms User Guide

Preview page

As an optional step in the form process, we can have a page that shows all of the information a user has submitted, to allow them to check everything is fine before they submit.

This doesn't work very well for long forms as it tends to produce quite a verbose page, so use sparingly.

Activating the preview page

In the form settings section, under the Forms tab, scroll down to Form preview settings.

Set Enable preview page to required.

Some extra options will appear.

The Preview label is the 'page title' that appears on progress bars.

The Page title should appear art the top of the page. Currently it does not, BBD are hopefully fixing this soon.

The Preview message currently appears as a pop up in the right hand side of the screen. Again, this is being looked at by BBD as ideally it should appear at the top of the page below the page title.
