Drupal Forms User Guide
Other form settings
When setting up the form, beyond those aspects already mentioned (save and return, preview pages etc.), it's worth checking the following settings as well:
Tracking
Find this under the form wizard settings heading under the form tab in settings. Select page name (?page=contact).
This gives each page of the form a separate URL, which allows them to be tracked by Google Analytics. We can use this to monitor where users drop out of forms.
Custom buttons
Page buttons are labelled as 'Next', 'Back' and 'Submit' by default. You can alter these in a page's settings. These will affect all the buttons in the form.
You can still override these with different words on specific pages when building the form in the Build view.
You may want to change 'Submit' to 'Confirm and submit' where a declaration checkbox appears on the last page. You can also add conditions to hide the button until the box is ticked.
