Once your application is submitted and paid for online, it's automatically sent to the responsible authorities so there's no need for applicants to send in paper hard copies.

Note. Where separate application and compliance fees are listed applicants will still need to pay both fees before the licence is issued for use, the total fee can be paid at the time of application.
Applicants who wish to pay the fees separately can do so, the application fee is paid at the time the application is submitted and the compliance fee is paid after the licence is granted prior to issue.
Notice of application
A notice of the application must be placed in the local newspaper. You can download a copy of the newspaper advert template (PDF, 201kb) to assist you.
Once the newspaper has published your advertisement, email a copy of the notice to the Licensing team at licensing@southwark.gov.uk.
It's an offence to operate without a licence or to breach the terms of the licence.
