Peckham Rye Streetspace Scheme

Consultation

The segregated cycle lanes were installed under an Experimental Traffic Order, which expires after 18 months.

The consultation was carried out via our online consultation hub between 4 August 2021 and 24 September 2021.

Having reviewed the consultation feedback and monitoring data collected throughout the trial period, we've proposed to make the scheme permanent, with some minor amendments.

We're also planning to make some improvements in the area between Rye Lane and East Dulwich Road, in particular looking to improve bus journey reliability and the experience for those walking and cycling. The feedback from this consultation will help us design future improvements in the area, by understanding what's most important to you.
