Southwark Pride fund 2024

You can apply for a grant from the Southwark Pride fund if:

  • you are running an event between 1 June and 31 August 2024 and
  • your event celebrates lesbian, gay, bisexual transgender and queer identity, culture, histories and rights

Some examples of events that could be funded include:

  • community fun days
  • street parties
  • workshops teaching drama, writing or other arts
  • exhibitions
  • music or theatre performances
  • film showings with Q + A sessions

Funding amounts

You can apply for up to £2,499 for your events.

You can apply for a grant can add funds to an already planned event, or to fund an event entirely.

Funding will be provided at three levels. 

Up to £500 for:

  • organisations without a track record of delivering events
  • small community celebrations such as a street party

Up to £2000 for: 

  • innovative and exciting events, performances or workshops

Up to £2499 for:

  • multiple events as part of a programme or festival
  • large events with a wide public reach and several forms of entertainment or engagement, such as a free to access community fun day

Key dates

You can apply for a Southwark Pride fund grant between 2 and 30 April 2024. 

If you've been awarded a grant, we will let you know in mid May.
