Description

Come and join us for some wonderful events celebrating Black History Month throughout October.

We have two very special events lined up on Saturday 4th and Saturday 18th October.

Experience the beauty and heritage of Africa through a stunning collection of traditional masks and art work which will be accompanied by a presentation by the respective artists along with opportunities to talk about their collections. There will also be some art/ cards for sale.

There will also be creative activities for families that explore mask making with traditional African fabrics and the processes of tie dying to make some stunning prints.

Storytelling will be on hand to ignite the children's imagination and some delicious traditional cuisine, "jerk" will be provided on the BBQ to be enjoyed in the lovely surroundings of the wildlife garden. Dance the day away or listen to lovely music by DJ Jamaica.
