Work as a Social Worker in Southwark

How your career will progress

At Southwark, we believe in good outcomes for our children, families, adults, social workers, occupational therapists and other professional practitioners.

When starting your professional career at Southwark, we understand that support does not end with the completion of your Assessed and Supported Year in Employment (ASYE). We've developed a strong learning culture, promoting professional growth and career progression. This includes the option of professional apprenticeships for existing staff members who would like to gain a qualification in social work or occupational therapy or a sponsored leadership programme for those who wish to progress into managerial roles.
