Offer of a primary school place
Southwark Council no longer sends offer letters by post. Instead, you'll receive an email from eAdmissions after 5pm on 16 April 2024 to confirm your child’s offer of a primary school place and provide information on what to do next. If you do not receive this email, check your junk mail folder. If you have still not received the email by 17 April, email Southwark Council’s school admissions team at email@example.com.
You'll also be able to find out the outcome of your application by logging into the eAdmissions website using your unique username and password on the evening of 16 April 2024.
Application results won't be provided over the telephone.
Please note that the offer of a school place is conditional until proof of address has been confirmed by the school. Original copies of the following will be required:
- child benefit documentation, or if you're no longer eligible to receive child benefits you'll need a letter from the HMRC confirming you were previously in receipt of child benefit
- council tax bill
- one other proof of address (TV licence, bank statement, credit/store card statement)
If the council or an admission authority has reason to suspect that a family doesn't live at the address stated on the application, we'll carry out an investigation. If we discover that a parent is making a fraudulent claim, the offer of a place will be withdrawn.
