In year admissions
In accordance with the School Standards and Framework Act 1998 (SSFA), you have the right to appeal against the decision not to offer your child a place at a preferred school.
If you're unsuccessful in being offered an in year school place for your child at a Southwark community school and want to appeal, read our in year admissions appeals information sheet (pdf, 40kb) and complete a in year appeal form (pdf, 18kb).
All appeal forms for community schools must be completed and returned to the address given on the form.
If you were unsuccessful in being offered an in year school place for your child at a Southwark academy, voluntary aided, foundation or free school, please contact the school directly for information on their appeals process.
For further advice on school admissions including availability of places, waiting lists and admissions criteria or if you have any questions, please contact the in year admissions team.
