The UK General Election is on 4 July. 
Register to vote by 18 June.
If you need to vote by post, you must apply to do this by 19 June.
You need valid photo ID to vote in person. If you don’t have valid ID, apply by 26 June for a Voter Authority Certificate.

Deaths and burials for service personnel who died overseas

FindMyPast offers the collected records of the British Armed Forces and Overseas Deaths and Burials, from the National Archives and General Register Office. It also holds the records for British civilians who died while abroad.

The Commonwealth War Graves Commission holds the records for the burials of First and Second World War service personnel.

Ancestry holds the UK, British Army Death records for 1730-1960 and the Commonwealth War Graves, 1914-1921 and 1939-1947.
