Borrow sport and games equipment for free

Southwark Council has launched the Free Play initiative, which gives residents access to a range of sports and play equipment in open spaces across Southwark completely free of charge.

Frisbees, kites, cricket sets, pop-up badminton and tennis, basketballs and hula hoops are just some of the items available to borrow. There will be a mix of assisted free play sessions and the opportunity for residents to borrow and use the equipment unsupervised for a specified time in the park.
