If you need to vote by post, you must apply to do this by 5pm on 19 June.
You need valid photo ID to vote in person. If you don’t have valid ID, apply by 5pm on 26 June for a Voter Authority Certificate.

Our team

Our Public Health team works to improve and protect the health and well-being of people living in Southwark. We do this by:

promoting and encouraging local people to make healthy choices
reducing inequalities in health that exist across the borough
ensuring local services are delivered effectively, fairly and sustainably

We focus strongly on prevention and take a whole systems approach to our work while ensuring that evidence informs every decision we make.

The team is led by our Director of Public Health, Sangeeta Leahy.
