Premises licence

The GALA team has an existing premises licence (880227), which allows them to provide regulated activity (playing of music and alcohol sales) on up to 6 days a year in a 10 day period. The licence allows provision of activity on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.

If the proposal for one arena show to take place on a Wednesday evening is confirmed, the GALA team will have to apply for a variation of the premises licence to allow for this.

Please note that the Premises Licence application process is different to the Event Licence application process. A premises licence permits the provision of regulated activity at a premises, whereas an event licence allows the use of a premises. The premises is an area of Peckham Rye Park in this instance.
