Southwark Community Energy Fund
Do you have a project that can reduce carbon emissions but needs some funding to help make it a reality? Southwark Community Energy Fund is a new fund for local community energy projects that can help do just that.
The fund is for projects from schools, faith groups and community groups to produce renewable energy, improve the energy efficiency of buildings and reduce carbon emissions. This could be with building improvements or green technology like solar panels or heat pumps.
Part of the fund is also available to help create or expand local community energy groups in the borough.
The fund is intended for community buildings and is not available for private residential properties. It is also not available for commercial groups and organisations.
