Coronavirus - public meetings update

Whilst the COVID-19 restrictions remain in place, we will hold all ward and multi-ward meetings online via Zoom.

Empowering Communities: East Central

Our next meeting

Our next multi-ward meeting will be on 8 December 2021, further details will be published soon.

Multi-ward forum areas

There are five multi-ward forum areas, each comprising four or five wards, but some of the wards now fall under different areas.

East Central area forum includes the below wards, click on your ward area to find out what meetings are happening:

Our Facebook page

Each Empowering Communities area has its own Facebook page. We welcome you to link our page to receive up-to-date information about local community activities. By liking the page, you'll also be able to post your events on it and receive more publicity - the more people that like it, the more the network grows.

Visit our East Central area Facebook page.

You can find out more about our Facebook terms and conditions (pdf, 196kb).

Contact your Empowering Communities Programme Officer

If you'd like to be added to the mailing list to receive a newsletter, be alerted to EC news/events or discuss the Neighbourhoods Fund, email Gill Kelly or phone her on 020 7525 3690.

Newsletter

Each Empowering Communities area produces a regular monthly newsletter, which includes local events, funding opportunities, job advertisements etc. If you'd like to receive our newsletter, email Gill Kelly and ask to be added to the list for your area.

In addition, if you have something to contribute to the newsletter, we welcome items of interest such as local events, news items or requests for charitable support. You can email your article (max of 200 words) and/or a flyer to Gill Kelly. We cannot promote commercial adverts, but items of charitable or community interest would be great. We reserve the right as editors to exclude unsuitable items.
