Scored questions
Each of the 5 criteria questions has a maximum score of 5.
Why your activity is needed
What is the need for your activity in relation to your chosen beneficiary group and focus area?
If your work is representative of Southwark's population, detail the case for:
- extending or deepening your work
- celebrating equality, representation and inclusion
If your work is not currently representative, explain why change is needed and/or why your activity is needed.
What you will deliver
What will be delivered, who will be involved in delivery, and what is the activity timeline?
Tell us:
- which creative, artistic or cultural activities you will deliver
- who will lead on delivery and what their experience is
- where and when the activity will be delivered
- which partners and/or collaborators will be involved, and whether they are confirmed
Who will benefit
How many people will benefit from the activity, who are they, and in which ways will they be reached and engaged?
Tell us:
- who your main beneficiaries are (audiences, participants, visitors, attendees, artists, practitioners) and what you know about their demographic information
- how your beneficiaries will be reached and engaged
- how your beneficiary numbers have been calculated (for example based on figures for similar projects or estimates informed by partners)
Meaningful change
How will your activity make meaningful change or amplify equality, diversity, inclusion, and representation?
Tell us your activity aims and outcomes, and how you will measure progress.
For change-making applications, tell us how you will progress towards the population benchmark in your chosen focus area.
For amplifying applications, tell us how you will measure success in celebrating or promoting representation and/or deepening your work with your beneficiary group(s).
Value for money
Does the proposed activity deliver value for money?
Think about:
- whether the amount of funding you have asked for, and the costs outlined in the expenditure table, are proportionate to the scale of the activity and its outputs
- whether you have broken down items of expenditure and detailed how the figures were calculated
