Get election ready

The UK General Election is on 4 July. 
Register to vote by 18 June.
If you need to vote by post, you must apply to do this by 5pm on 19 June.
You need valid photo ID to vote in person. If you don’t have valid ID, apply by 5pm on 26 June for a Voter Authority Certificate.

Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH)

National Support agencies

The MASH will bring the following benefits:

  • faster, more coordinated and consistent responses to safeguarding concerns about children and families
  • an improved ‘journey’ for the child with greater emphasis on early intervention and better informed services provided at the right time
  • greater ability to identify potential vulnerability, enabling more preventative action to be taken, dealing with case before they escalate
  • closer partnership working, clearer accountability and less duplication of effort
  • a reduction in the number of inappropriate referrals and re-referrals to Children’s Social Care
