Start Up Loans

The Start Up Loans Company is a government funded initiative providing start-up support in the form of a repayable loan together with a business mentor for entrepreneurs across England and Northern Ireland. The initiative operates through a network of delivery partners across the country who support entrepreneurs in all industries and sectors.

The loans are available to people of all age groups.

Enterprise Ventures

Enterprise Ventures is a provider of venture capital and loans to small businesses in England and Wales. They can provide finance of up to £2 million for businesses in all sectors and at all stages of development - from funding for start-ups to investment to help you grow your business, fund a management buy-out or buy-in and replacement capital.

Frederick's Foundation

Frederick’s Foundation is a charity that helps people who wish to set up or expand their own business as a means of achieving financial independence but are unable to access the finance required from conventional sources. They also look to rebuild confidence and self-esteem. They can help you by providing a comprehensive range of business support and microloan funding for start-ups and small businesses.

EEN London

The Enterprise Europe Network is a key instrument in the EU's strategy to boost growth and jobs. Bringing together around 600 business support organisations from more than 50 countries, they advise small companies on a range of topics, including how to access funding and finance.

The Network in the UK is funded by the European Commission and Innovate UK.
