If you're 65 or older, or an adult with dementia or physical disabilities, our older people and physical disabilities team may be able to support you.

If you, or the person you're asking about, are not currently receiving support from Southwark Council but would like help to stay independent and well, you can contact one of our community partners before speaking with us.
Southwark Disability Hub
Southwark Disability Hub is a service for residents aged 18 and over who:
- are disabled
- are neurodivergent
- have a sensory impairment
- have a learning disability
It offers information, advice and community activities for people living in Southwark, helping them to feel included, stay healthy and live as independently as possible.
Southwark Disability Hub is open Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.

Ageing Well Southwark
Ageing Well Southwark is a local support hub partnership between local charities such as Age UK and Southwark Council. They support Southwark residents who are 60 and over and their carers, to stay well, independent and connected in the community.
Support includes:
- befriending services, social clubs, coffee mornings, art groups and trips
- classes such as yoga, strength and balance, health talks and digital skills training
- help to check benefits, deal with debt, fill forms, or find local care options
- the handyperson service for small repairs and other assistance to help with independent living
