Who the course is for and what you'll learn
Acoustic guitar: an introduction
This course is for learners with no previous experience playing the guitar. You do not need to read music.
The course will cover the history and background of the guitar, how to choose a guitar, simple chord structures and good practice techniques.

This course is for learners who have previously completed an introductory course, either with Southwark Adult Learning Service or with another provider.
The course will build on prior learning to further develop guitar theory, technique and performance skills within a growing repertoire of musical genres.
