Description
Building Futures is a FREE in-person training programme, aimed at those who are new to developing heritage projects, including individuals, community or Friends groups, or anyone else who is interested in undertaking a project to save or promote a part of London’s heritage.On 22nd April, this workshop will cover:
-What makes a successful, viable regeneration project and how to develop one
-Who could benefit from your project and in what ways
-Project funding opportunities and ensuring a successful application
Speakers include:
-London Historic Buildings Trust
-Sophia Mirchandani from the Cultural Consulting Network
-National Lottery Heritage Fund
-Friends of Crystal Palace Subway recounting their work to champion this hidden relic of Victorian construction.
-Kingswood Arts CIC presenting their new masterplanning initiative at the historic Kingswood House at the centre of the Kingswood Estate, Dulwich Wood (pictured below). Kingswood Arts CIC is a new not-for-profit arts centre and cultural hub, designed to support its local community through creativity. The feasibility project has secured a grant of £10,000 from the National Lottery Heritage Fund.
