Get election ready

The UK General Election is on 4 July. 
Register to vote by 18 June.
If you need to vote by post, you must apply to do this by 19 June.
You need valid photo ID to vote in person. If you don’t have valid ID, apply by 26 June for a Voter Authority Certificate.

Winter weather

During the winter months, the weather can be unpredictable, with sudden cold spells and snowfall. It's important to pay attention to the weather forecast.

Older adults and those with long-term health conditions are particularly vulnerable to the health effects of the cold and are more likely to get injured through slips and falls.

Making preparations for winter can help you minimise any disruption during bad weather and help you prevent colds, flu and other health problems over the winter months.
