Collaboration on domestic abuse support in the borough (MARAC)

Find out how we work with other organisations across the borough through the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC).

How MARAC supports people affected by domestic abuse

We work with other organisations to support the safety of women and men at high risk of domestic abuse. Key Southwark organisations meet once a month to discuss high risk survivors who live in the borough.

We share information about the risks faced by both adult and child survivors, we and make decisions on how to increase their safety, health and wellbeing. The conference also discusses support and interventions for perpetrators of domestic abuse.
