Description

✨ Join our Roots 'n' Rhythms night at The Africa Centre where Willis Chimano will bring his soul to the stage.

Heavy Is the Crown is a fearless performance tracing love, loss, queerness and becoming — a bold expression of what it means to live openly as a gay African artist.

From stardom to solitude, from silence to voice, this show invites audiences to witness a journey of liberation as Chimano confronts societal expectations, queerness, and the inner call to rise as his fullest self.

A performance you don't want to miss!
