Join Bankside Open Spaces Trust (BOST) for a fun, family-friendly activity where youâll learn all about solitary beesand help build habitats to support these amazing pollinators. Youâll also get to create your own bee-themed decorations to take home!
Unlike honeybees, solitary bees nest alone in tunnels found in wood or soil. In this hands-on workshop, youâll discover how to make the perfect âbee hotelâ just in time for spring, when female bees are busy searching for places to lay their eggs.
This activity is free and open to all. No booking needed â just drop by between 12:30pm and 4pm during the Letâs Make Music & Dance event with live music performances and salsa dancing sessions.
