About me and my connection to Southwark

Strange ecology, anthrozoology, alt futures, and nonhuman narratives through sculpture.

I am an artist & researcher focusing on methods of anthrozoological storytelling through objects and installation. Drawn to the concept of rituals / desire / play working as tools to encourage empathy, I use a range of sculptural media to both present unearth unseen ecological narratives.

My work imagines objects from speculative worlds in which all living beings are understood as fully interconnected and categorisations are highly fluid. Sometimes playing with the notion of the nonsensical, my work attempts to awaken alternate ways of ecological thinking and dreaming.

I enjoy communal projects especially relating to shared green space and connecting people to wildlife. I have delivered multiple public outdoor sculptures and designed/delivered many wildlife habitat-making workshops.

Please feel free to get in touch for any commissions, collaborations, or conversations related to the intersection of ethology / ecology / anthrozoology (the interaction between people and wildlife) and art. This includes sculpture, consultation, research, practical workshops, and digital work.

I currently live and work in Southwark and went to university at Camberwell College of Arts. I have an art studio in Peckham and would be happy to meet for a coffee if you’re interested in meeting for chats and collaborations.
