About me and my connection to Southwark
I’m an experienced dance artist, performer, choreographer, movement director, and facilitator with applied knowledge of inclusive practices and creative health. For more than 20 years, I’ve performed and collaborated with dance, aerial, and theatre companies, both in the UK and abroad. I have extensively worked with communities and groups within the cultural and educational sectors. I've been living in Southwark since 2004 and worked for Southwark Council between 2009 and 2012 in the Active Living scheme, creating and running social prescribing programmes using somatic movement and yoga practices across the borough. As an artist and maker, I long for experimental art-making that creates a generous and critical dialogue committed to social growth and environmental sustainability.
