About me and my connection to Southwark
Within my art practice, I create drawings, prints and experimental animations that are often made directly on site and temporarily exist in and interact with the surrounding environment. I let the environment make a mark on my work by using materials I find at the locations. For example, I created an animation using tea, coffee, cutlery and lemon from my kitchen, I made prints using local clay that I found in the fields in Scotland, and I created pastels using pigments extracted from rocks collected on the banks of river Thames in Southwark.
