About me and my connection to Southwark
As an artist and designer living and working in Southwark, I feel incredibly fulfilled and inspired by the sense of community and creativity that this vibrant borough offers. The multicultural diversity of the area provides a rich tapestry of experiences and cultures that constantly challenge and inform my creative practice.
I've previously worked with Peckham Platform creating artwork about our local community. That artwork was featured on BBC and was later broadcasted on television. It was a great feeling to produce work that could be celebrated and shared on a large scale.
I'm excited about the new builds in Elephant and Castle and would like to represent my area with new pieces of artwork such as sculptures, illustrations, and prints to inspire our neighbourhood.
Overall, Southwark provides a welcoming environment that encourages artists and designers to push boundaries and express themselves in new and exciting ways.
