About me and my connection to Southwark

I am a migrant theatre director, facilitator and producer based in Southwark, as well as co-Artistic Director of Southwark-based company Halfpace Theatre, which works with organisations in the borough and beyond to support and uplift marginalised artists. My individual practice spans across genres with a preference for devised, physical and ensemble-generated work, although as of late I have been getting back into working in musical theatre as well. Halfpace’s practice is centered around community engagement and we regularly host free workshops and offer career support for artists in need of advice.

I’m happy to discuss arranging free workshops on devising, collaborative theatre making, site-responsive theatre and more with any organisation or community group looking to offer services for their audiences. As a director I’m always thrilled to meet other artists (especially in other disciplines) and discuss cross-collaboration and promotion.
