Community learning in hubs

Digital Hubs

In addition to the support offered in our libraries, Southwark is working in partnership with community organisations across the borough to provide digital support to residents close to home. Our network of digital hubs are locations where free internet connections, training, advice and access to devices are available.

We recognise that people‘s digital needs vary greatly and while some want training or advice, others just need help filling in a form. If you don’t have an internet connection in your home, a hub is a place where it can be accessed for free and where you can meet with one of our champions to get support.

Formal courses and classroom learning are not for everyone so our hubs offer informal one-to one
training, peer learning or troubleshooting. Whether it’s a quick fix or longer term learning, digital support in Southwark is there for anyone who needs it.
