Please take care this winter

Please take extra care in our parks and open spaces during periods of bad weather this winter, as hard surfaces may be slippery.

We will be salting busier areas, where ice or snow is visible during the day. However, most hard surfaces in our parks will remain untreated. Please consider the risks of slipping over before entering a park and take a safer alternative route if possible.

Cycling is especially dangerous in icy weather and we strongly advise against riding a bike in icy conditions. Please review your travel plans before setting off on your journey and always consider alternative means of transport.
