How we deal with antisocial behaviour
The council, the police and their partners have a range of tools and powers which equips them to deal with antisocial behaviour. The measures in place include:
- fixed penalty notices and on the spot fines
- seizing alcohol to reduce street drinking
- closing down crack houses
- evicting nuisance tenants
- seizing of equipment and vehicles
- injunctions
In all cases, the victim(s) will receive support from a dedicated officer.
