You can find help below to start or grow your business, through programmes that involve mentoring, coaching, skills development and access to finance.

Southwark Council business pages 

Council guidance, information, and opportunities for businesses of all sizes

STRIDE 

Programmes supporting individuals and enterprises based in the creative economy. STRIDE specifically supports people in Southwark, Lambeth, Lewisham, and Wandsworth.

Business Launchpad (BLP)

Free support for Southwark residents aged 16 to 30 who have a business idea. Register on the BLP website to access their enterprise programme, coaching, workshops, and wellbeing support.

Start up in London Libraries (SiLL) 

Support and guidance to would-be entrepreneurs and start-up businesses. Open to aspiring entrepreneurs, or businesses that are not trading or have been registered at Companies House for less than 12 months. Residents and businesses with a Southwark postcode can apply.

Enterprise for London

Help for new or growing businesses to take the next step, through training, mentoring and access to finance. Most of the programmes are open to adults age 18 or above, and some work with specific groups or types of business.

Hatch Enterprise 

Early stage business support with a specific focus on social enterprises, young entrepreneurs and female founders. Some of the programmes target specific groups and business types.

Free support, advice and sources of finance to help start or grow your business.
