Service charge refunds and transfers

If you have a credit on a service charge invoice you may be able to apply for a refund.  As stated in your lease, you are not automatically entitled to a refund, and we would normally use any credits to offset any outstanding invoice(s) on the service charge account.

However, a refund of credits accumulated either through overpayment or on your final account can be refunded upon request as long as:

  • There is a credit balance greater than £100
  • The service charge account is up to date, with no outstanding invoice/balance
  • All agreed payment plans have been kept up to date at the time of the request

Refunds are paid via a BACs transfer, and it can take up to 21 days for the funds to be paid into the recipient’s account. This may take longer if you submit your request between 8th March – 8th April 2021 during our billing and year end period as processing takes longer in this busy time.
