Procurement

We are required to provide services that will often have to be delivered by external contractors. We procure these services from contractors in a variety of ways. These include:

  • partnering contracts with multi-disciplinary building firms chosen through a competitive tender process
  • procuring services through a Framework Agreement (this can be through a mini-competition for example) dependent on the scope of the required works
  • on larger projects (more than £4.7m) we can receive individual tenders through the Procurement Regulation tender process and the Greater London Authority (GLA) London Development Panel (LDP)

These tendering and procurement exercises can help to attract a wide range of available contractors to bid for the work and ensure the council achieves the best value for money for our residents.

If you'd like more information about our procurement procedures please visit our main procurement pages.

You can also visit the LGA website for more information about framework agreements.
