Description

Join us for a relaxed, drop in workshop where you will learn the very basics of hand weaving on cardboard looms while your baby sits on your lap, snuggles in the sling, has a feed or snoozes in the pram.

The curators of A Textile Assembly, Chloe and Rachael, will lead you through a gentle introduction to the ancient art of weaving, exploring colour and textures within this very simple form of textile construction.

This workshop is aimed at families as an opportunity to enjoy some time for yourself, be creative, and have a chat with other local parents whilst taking in the beautiful exhibition.
