Description

Staffordshire St MAKES | As part of our exhibition A Textile Assembly at Staffordshire St, we invite you to an introduction to Tatreez embroidery workshop.

In this two-hour workshop The Tatreez Collective will take you through the significance and history of Palestinian Tatreez embroidery, as they teach you how to stitch a traditional motif. As you stitch you will be served Palestinian sage tea, traditional sweets and listen to Arabic music, all held in the heart of A Textile Assembly.

Materials:

This workshop is suitable for beginners and experienced crafters alike. All materials are provided, and you can take home your embroidered piece.
