Multi-Agency Flood Plan

We have written a Multi-Agency Flood Plan (MAFP) to guide the response effort where a flood event becomes a major flooding incident.

A major flooding incident is defined as

• having extensive inundation of structures and roads
• needing significant evacuations of people and/or transfer of property to higher elevations 

The content within the MAFP has been agreed across all key stakeholders responsible for responding to flooding. This determines how they will work together in such an event.

Southwark Council’s MAFP is currently being updated and will be uploaded to this page once published.
