- your current valid biometric EU passport or valid biometric residence card
- a mobile phone that can receive text messages or a device that can receive email
This service does not currently accept national identity cards. Only the ID documents listed above can be checked during this phase
The ID verification service is available free of charge to Southwark residents (you will need to provide evidence such as a recent council tax bill, utility bill or bank statement at your appointment to qualify for the free service).
