Cultural Celebrations Fund

This fund supports free outdoor events that work towards the vision of a Southwark where everyone can live a good life as part of a strong community.

More than 60 events have received funding since then with 15 supported in 2025/26.

This year's grant will support events from 1 April 2026 to 21 March 2027. 

Grant sizes

Depending on your event, you can apply for:

• small grants up to £4,000 for smaller or newer events
• large grants between £4,001 and £10,000 for larger or more established events

For larger events:

• the application process is more complex
• you are normally expected to secure other funding as well as money from the council

Up to £95,000 is available in total this year.

Deadline

The deadline to apply is 12 noon on Wednesday 12 November 2025.
