Canada Water Library

Newington Temporary Library now open

Newington Temporary Library opened its doors to the public at 10am on Tuesday 30 September 2014. Situated on the second floor of the new Artworks Elephant site the library offers books, newspapers and magazines, free internet and Wi-Fi, study spaces and a children's library. Black History Month

Libraries have lots of great events to help celebrate Black History Month 2014. Some of the highlights include actress Cathy Tyson and musician Jack Tyson-Charles at Canada Water Library on Tuesday 28 October 2014, author Andrea Stuart at Canada Water Library on Wednesday 29 October 2014 and a discussion on the history of Black Music in London at Peckham Library on Wednesday 8 October.
