Food and Fun holiday programme

Our school holiday activity and food programme is for children aged 4 to 16 on benefits-related free school meals.

It runs during the Easter, summer and winter school holidays. The next programme runs from 28 July to 29 August.

Watch our film about what families and children thought of the summer food and fun programme.

Each programme will provide:

  • free, nutritious and tasty food
  • fun physical activity sessions
  • a wide range of other exciting activities to suit different ages and personalities
  • opportunities to learn more about food and nutrition for children and their families

“I found that the food was a great help. One less thing to think about.”

 - Southwark parent

“It’s nice to just sit down whilst having food and talking to each other because you get to bond together.”

 - Southwark young person

All programmes are delivered in line with government health protection guidance to keep young people safe.

The food and fun programme is funded by the Department for Education.
