Description

Join us for a wonderful evening of dancing to the beautiful sounds of London Fiddle Collective – a new group comprising of esteemed local musicians Deb Chalmers, Will Allen, Ben Moss and Mitch Keely.

They make full use of the rich harmonies and driving melodies on offer with multiple fiddles, taking influences from legendary bands such as Blazin’ Fiddles and Danish String Quartet, but with repertoire rooted in English traditional music.

Martin Clarke leads the dances, fresh off the festival circuit his boundless energy and enthusiasm for ceilidh dancing is guaranteed to have you on your feet, leaping about and having a right old laugh.

*** PLUS – Special guest performance from Tower Ravens rapper sword dancers! ***

This is a fun and inclusive evening of music and dancing. No experience necessary – all the dances are carefully explained. Come with friends or by yourself – it’s a great way to meet new people. Bar provided.

Waterloo Ceilidhs is a leading ceilidh series at St John’s Church, opposite Waterloo station. Featuring some of the country’s top ceilidh bands and callers, we bring inclusive and high-energy ceilidhs to the London music scene.
