Description

Did you know the council have a Community Gardening team who support community gardening and food growing in the borough?  There are many amazing community gardens all over Southwark. To find a space local to you a good place to start is https://www.goodtogrowuk.org/map/southwark/

If you are involved with, or interested in setting up a new garden get in touch.  The team can give advice and support and link you to training, funding and related opportunities to support your project.  They organise networking events where you can connect with other projects and run a free training programme from food growing to composting to community organising.  You can find out more information via the quarterly newsletter and Instagram account @southwark_community_gardening

Contact the team at  communitygardening@southwark.gov.uk
