Adopt London South the regional adoption agency for 10 south London local authorities (Including Southwark, Lewisham, Greenwich, Lambeth, Wandsworth, Sutton, Merton, Kingston, Richmond, and Croydon) is delivering a powerful and emotionally resonant new art exhibition, #UnfoldingJourneys, will launch this June in the atrium of Southwark Council’s Tooley Street offices. The showcase will feature the creative work of adopted adults giving voice to stories of identity, resilience, and belonging.
Running from 16–27 June 2025, the exhibition is free and open to the public during council opening hours 9am-5pm. It offers a rare and moving opportunity to experience the lived journeys of adopted adults through painting, illustration, photography, poetry, and mixed media. The participating artists have all been supported by the Adopt London South Adopted Adult online and in-person support group which has now been meeting for 3 years. This is a space that provides the opportunity for adopted adults connect, heal, and grow through shared experience.
